The vision

A generational opportunity. A responsibility of generations.

Israel's resilience rests on its hold on the land — in the Negev, the Galilee, Judea & Samaria. Buying land in the Land of Israel is far more than a policy-backed real-estate opportunity: it continues directly the path of the land redeemers — Hovevei Zion, Yehoshua Hankin and the Jewish National Fund — who, dunam by dunam, laid the foundations of the State of Israel. A home for the Jewish people, wherever they are, in every part of the land.

A hold on the land

A legacy that begins with buying land

Before there was a state, there was land. Practical Zionism was built on land redemption — purchase, registration and settlement — and on the conviction that a national home for the Jewish people is built dunam by dunam.

The land redeemers

Yehoshua Hankin bought the lands of Rehovot and Hadera (1890–1891) and later the Jezreel Valley; the Jewish National Fund was founded in 1901 to redeem land on behalf of the whole people. That is how the Jewish Galilee, the valleys and the moshavot were born — and on them the State was built.

"A dunam here, a dunam there"

A 1930s children's song that became an ethos: a hold on the land is built from small, steady purchases, not from one grand gesture. Whoever buys land today in the Negev, the Galilee or Judea & Samaria continues exactly that act.

A home for the Jewish people — in every part of the land

From the Negev, in which Ben-Gurion saw the country's future, through the Galilee to Judea & Samaria: the Zionist vision is one, religious and secular alike. Its roots are ancient — Jeremiah bought a field in Anathoth on the eve of the destruction as an act of faith in the future — but its realisation is the national enterprise of recent generations.

What changed in recent years

October 7 — a turning point

It sharpened the strategic importance of a physical hold on the land — in the Negev envelope, in the Galilee and on the northern border, and along the seam line in Judea & Samaria — turning it from a political question into a broadly shared security need.
