Plan Advances to Expand Eli Settlement by 763 Housing Units
The Supreme Planning Council in the Civil Administration is expected to discuss a major expansion plan for Eli and Har Adar.
According to the report, the Supreme Planning Council is set to advance a plan comprising 763 new housing units, including around 673 in Eli and 90 in Har Adar. The initiative is being promoted by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who oversees planning matters in the Civil Administration. Once all recently approved plans in the area are completed, Eli is expected to triple in size. The move aims to enable the settlement to absorb thousands of additional residents over time.
What this means for land buyers
Approval of the plan could eventually increase the future supply of housing units and lots in the Eli area, which is relevant for investors and families planning self-build projects. However, this is still a planning stage, and actual marketing or detailed tenders have yet to be published.
